A New Year...New Objectives

So long story short, we pulled Ben out of school. There is nothing redeeming about UNF that I could EVER in a million years say about that school and thus became SOOOOO frustrated with the lack of intelligence from that "institution" that we pulled him out. Well - that and the Lord saying - Don't go back. (of which I don't think I've ever been happier about an answer to a prayer. It was the best prayer answer EVER!! Trust me EVER!!)

So Ben put the word out there in the construction field that he was back on the market and within two weeks got a call from the person who introduced him to the field originally years ago, with a job offer. He took it immediately! It was truly a blessing and answer from God. He said stop school for now and get a job...and then provided us with the job.

So now Ben is working full time making more than when he left the job force for school. We feel soo incredibly blessed to have him working. At this point in time, due to frugality on our part, his income isn't needed to help us float, so we'll be doing some much needed home repairs (new roof, new bathroom, lots of painting & kitchen updates) so that one day we'll be able to put the house up for sale and move to family. So that catches you up on a tiny bit of what has been going on this year thus far.
