We just got back from Vacation and wanted to get photos up right away for family.

I really have no idea where we are but we are packing for vacation.

First plane ride. Loved looking out the window.

She became VERY interested in Ben's long eye lashes. She was so very gentle in touching them.

In the
Las Vegas Airport, they have a cigarette holder/ash tray right next to the changing station. With a sign 2 feet away that says "No Smoking."

Las Vegas Temple. Her first time going to the temple.

Amelie's first experience with grass - REAL grass. She LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Too bad it will be a while before she experiences it again.

Next Stop: Valley of Fire State Park. What you can't see, is how
stinkin sick I am. I ended up sleeping through the last half of the park due to my feeling terrible.

Then on to St. George. So once again, a chance to play in the grass and see her SECOND temple!

Then off to Zion National Park. Lots of hiking and we loved every moment of it.

Then off to
Kanab, UT. Our hotel, the best in
Kanab we're told, gave us a complimentary paper towel. Their generosity, in our opinion, was over the top. (tee
hee hee)

Then off to Coral Sand Dunes. It was unbelievably windy. We only stayed for about 15 minutes.

Then to make up for the lack of excitement at Coral Sand Dunes (which would be a great park if you had an ATV), we headed for the Grand Canyon NORTH Rim. But alas, it was insanely windy here to. We only stayed less than an hour - a good portion spend in the bathroom with Amelie.

Then we headed over to Page, AZ to meet up with Ben's parents & his brother's family. Amelie asleep in her crib at the hotel. We much prefer pack n plays vs. cribs in hotels. The
binkie can 'fall' out of a pack n play.

Time to load up on the house boat and Amelie has the TIME OF HER LIFE with all her cousins. It was great. They all LOVED playing with her and she LOVED playing with them! Thank you to all of them for their amazing help!

A kiddie pool on the top deck of the boat for Amelie & Rachel.

Amelie's first boo boo. She fell off a platform bed, hit a stair and ended up on the ground. Though she got a scratch, i never broke the surface and never turned into a black eye. She survived and we learned to put suit cases around her to ensure that she wouldn't roll off the bed again.

Breakfast. Yum Yum. Page & Liz are AMAZING cooks and made sure we were all fed well. Eggs, pancakes, homemade salsa, salads, lots of yummy grilled foods. I don't think I've ever eaten so well.

The smallest life jacket available. She survived. :)

Rainbow Bridge. Great opportunity to see it. The whole clan pictured except for Paige and Rachel who stayed on the boat.

Always happy and always smiling! We really lucked out with how amazing she is.

Fun time with her cousin Sophie.

Can't travel with out some of her favorite books. Amelie LOVES to read and get
sooooooo excited with each new page.

Out on the speed boat working on our tans and exploring the canyons. I think I'm a nice shade of normal - or maybe still a little pale now but not ghostly white. (then again, non of my co-workers noticed my tan, so it can't be as good as I think it is).

This was as far as we could travel. NONE of us work our sandals while walking around and after running from shade spot to shade spot we discovered that the sand was 130 degrees!! Holy Moly!

Ben's Parents, still very much in love. :)

Hiking around one of our stopping points for the evening with the kiddos.

With the water being 50 degrees, we discovered a new use for the slide on the back of the boat! And you don't even need your swim suit!

Hiking around exploring the canyons!

After we departed from the family, we headed to the Grand Canyon SOUTH Rim.

Really - who is this happy in their car seat?

After the South Rim, we went to Hoover Dam where it was mighty windy!

Then back to Vegas. Ben won this pound puppy in a stuffed animal crane machine. She LOVES it. We appropriately named it Vegas.

We went to Shark Reef and saw all the fishes. Amelie LOVED it and was able to follow them around.

At the airport....unfortunately we missed our flight...so that meant another day in Vegas!!

Swimming in the pool, which was a bit chilly.

No trip is complete without a stop at M&M land.

Getting ready to board the plane and end our trip.
Amelie did amazingly well on all flights and during the entire trip. She adjusted to all time zone changes easily and was a trooper in the long drives in the car. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who likes to go, go, go!
