The photos are apparently in reverse order. NEWEST to OLDEST. So let's review the past 3 months in a quick shot from NOW until January!
The weather has been fantastic so we've been playing outside and doing lots of sidewalk chalk drawings.
Ben's parents came to visit for a few weeks and Amelie was in heaven. Lots of activities and lots of attention!!
At a park examining a palm tree. Amelie likes to hold hands when she swings which makes for a difficult feat. BUT I do want to crop the picture below as I LOVE the look the shadow gives.
We fed the ducks several times and got to know many of them as our friends. Amelie usually eats more than they do but that's ok too!
There is a park right next to the duck pond and so we always take a few minutes to play as well as chase the birds.
I found Amelie one day like this. She was sooo proud of her new discovery. A bag of chocolate. She had opened and taken ONE BITE out of about 10 when I found her....sneaky girl!
My Dad came to visit for a few weeks and though I have almost zero pictures (as I lost my camera), I did happen to find it just before he left. We enjoyed seeing much of what Jacksonville has to offer (which is very very little).
Amelie loves to play hide and seek with Toby. Unfortunately, this is NOT a favorite game of Toby's and there is usually swatting action. Amelie thinks its hilarious which just makes her want to play more! (Yes she is declawed in the front so no damage to Amelie)
During Packing, Amelie rediscovered the hiking backpack and LOVES LOVES LOVES to be carried around the house in it. She also loves to sing Jesus Loves me for a Sunbeam while in the backpack because we always jump at the word sunbeam.
Photos out of order...
Amelie watching videos and looking at pictures on Grandma's camera!
A "cycle" ride around the block. Something that we enjoy as a family.
Amelie loves her swimming pool. The cement usually gets a good water during her swim times but it's a great way to pass time on a boring day!
Our friends had their 2nd birthday and we were invited to their party. They had a pinata and Amelie did a good job taking a few swings!
Amelie's best friend Hinata (and crush) came over for a play date one night before he left for Japan. We miss him soooo much and though she doesn't ask EVERY day if we are going to see him (which she did for several weeks), she does ask at least several times a week. First loves only happen once and she couldn't have picked a better looking guy!
January was CHEAP zoo month. So we went EVERY Tuesday & Thursday and often with friends.
Amelie enjoyed her FIRST carousel ride! She did sooo good and loved every minute!
So that catches us up in a VERY speedy way on the past 3 months. Whew!
