Amelie and her cousin Bella loved to play doctor on each other. One would play dead and the other would examine her to see if she was really dead or just asleep. Eventually they begged for "Doctor Mom" to come play too. Alas I did and my "dead" girls were sure giggly! Amelie was hilarious though. As soon as you told her to play dead, she would do this entire flop around like a dead fish routine before getting still. And then she'd giggle the whole time. After a few initial checks, I would quickly discover that was was in fact NOT DEAD but just asleep and would tickle her alive.
An entire day with Uncle Kent on Mothers Day and all I got was one picture!
Grandma & Grandpa had eye appointments in Logan. So we drove them up there and while they were being examined, we played in the beautiful grass and with the freshly fallen petals from the trees all around. We tossed them in the air to catch them, threw them at each other and then started to just toss them onto our heads, because we are silly like that.
When that game got old, we entertained all of the hospital visitors with Amelie's impersonation of a flying butterfly, crawling caterpillar, airplane and "cool tricks."
And alas, when that game grew old, we played ring around the tree. It was such a beautiful day and so nice to play outside.
