Our first stop was Blue Springs State Park which is about a half hour NNE of Orlando. We snorkled around for awhile, but 72 degree water is too cold to be in when there isn't any sun! It was a cloudy day for the most part, but still beautiful.

Then we made the drive to Sanibel where we stayed the night and woke up to see this fantastic water!

Our next stop was Miami. We first went to see the Everglades. Gators everywhere, no lie.

What a smile!

Miami was really fun to visit, and we will for certain be back.

Miami Vice house. Some of you may recognize it.

The Ducks tour was worth it. We even saw Rosie O'Donnell's house... that made the trip!

Springs - a must see
Sanibel - Awesome
Everglades - airboats rock!
South Beach- Who knew it was a nude beach?

Looks like an incredible trip. But please tell me you have some amazing zoom on your camera and were nowhere near THISCLOSE to that gator!
Kendra,
No zoom on that picture, yes we were that close. She was perfectly still until we walked up. Then she opened wide for a pretty smile and her mate who was 2 times her size began to readjust his position. He was about 5 feet behind her but not in the picture. Now what you also don't see are the bars that protected her from us. (ben put the camera through the bars for that lovely picture. Before the airboat tour they had a few gators in the back that we could get upclose and personal with and so we did. :)
Oh, so tricky. Of course, a barrier of metal bars never dawned on me.
