In an effort to spend a little extra time with Amelie doing a few extra special things before the baby arrives, we went to go get ourselves Pedicures. Amelie insisted that she also needed a manicure too. So at her request, she got pink nails with blue sparkles and blue toe nails with blue sparkles.
Unfortunately, it will be the last one we get for her until she is older. You see, Amelie LOVES to pick at her nails. And ESPECIALLY loves to pick nail polish OFF her nails. After several discussions about how she is not allowed to pick at her nails, I found her nightly bath water covered in nail polish flakes when I went to drain it. It only took 24 hours for her finger and toe nails to be bare again. :(
