Exploring

We are slowly discovering what makes Fort Collins tick.  One of our first stops was "The Farm" recommended by a fellow hotel guest.  The Farm is an actual working farm that allows you to see different animals, feed them  and occasionally pet them too for a small entrance fee.  They have farm equipment for you to play on and a little kid zone to play in.  Amelie liked it but was more interested in the farm cat than any other animal!  Afterwards, we hit the big park right next door and got more of our energy out.

A few days later we hit the jack pot.  A huge park with a splash pad.  And it's all FREE!  Amelie has been really shy lately and has a small aversion to water since breaking her leg.  But we know she'll bounce back soon!

They have fun swings which we think are for the handicap but we love to play on them too!

At the top of the hill is a huge field for kite flying.  we all sat on the bench swing watching a kite and enjoying the perfect weather.
What a great park!  We'll have to come here every week!
