Two weeks before we left for Christmas, Amelie was asking if she could trick or treat at grandma and grandpas house. Since it was a bit too cold to do it outside, we decided to trick or treat INSIDE. Amelie was able to do this TWICE and lucked out with lots of candy!
Speaking of candy, it was never in short supply. This little girl was spoiled rotten. Chocolate kisses any time she asked and a million other yummy treats to top it all off. But the main reason she was so spoiled was because of Grandpa. Grandpa was always quick to sneak candy corns (her favorite) or hershey kisses or many other yummy treats her way. It was never too early or too late for treats.
Which then brings me to the best part of all. This morning (Jan. 1) at 9:30 am, Amelie asked if she could have cookies! I asked her if this was Grandma & Grandpa's house, and with a sly smirk, she replied YEP! Because cookies would have flown at grandma and grandpas. However, I made her wait at least until after lunch for a cookie. Oh how she missed you!!
