We aren't allowed to alter the environment around us. In fact sidewalk chalk is against the rules. So we sure hope our little garden will be ok. We decided to do a bucket garden. And while Amelie and Ben were planting it a little girl (Ruby) from the neighborhood came over and asked to help too. So the three of them planted the garden and watered it. It's growing well and we sure hope to get something from it this summer.
We planted:
Straight neck squash
Zucchini
Cilantro
Basil
Garlic
Mucho Nacho Jalapeno Peppers (larger than usual)
