The first thing to get the new bed up, was to take apart the crib and move it into our room. Amelie, our handy girl, loves to help whenever the tools come out.
Once her new bed was put together we added an air mattress on top until we can get the mattress. The bed is SUPER low to the ground which is great for Amelie, however it killed any chance of storage under the bed. BOO for me and my pack rat abilities. OH and who doesn't get a new bed and jump on it. That's how to find out if it's a good bed or not!
Day #2 of bike rides. She did AWESOME. She's mastered steering AND balance and was once again brave enough to glide down the small hills. She's doing amazing and LOVES to ride!
Oh and incase you forgot from previous posts, Amelie now dresses herself 100% of the time. She chooses her outfits every day and does a pretty good job. They always match decently. But today's was exceptionally great. She came down stairs with her pink flower skirt, a pink top and her new polk a dot tights. THEN she added a white cardigan and her black mary janes and was seriously the cutest kid EVER. Her independence and ability to do all of these things by herself will really help when the baby comes!
