Saturday was SUPER packed. We started our day off at the Bee Family Farm Museum. Our friend Michelle gave us a certificate to visit it for the day. So off we went to check it out. This farm was one of the largest (if not the largest) in Colorado and the state bought it a few years ago and turned it into a museum. Really its set up for school field trips and large groups. But we enjoyed walking around and checking it out. Amelie got to milk a wooden cow, learn how to use old tools and grind corn into cornmeal. We saw several animals and enjoyed walking around the property.
After the farm we headed off to a shopping plaza here in town that was doing trick or treating at the various businesses. Amelie decided to wear her Butterfly costume. Sadly, we discovered that many of the shop owners had never seen a monarch butterfly as Amelie was called everything from a fairy to a catipiller. But never once did anyone guess butterfly.
