We feel so blessed to have family so close to us. We were lucky to have my parents come right after Ephram was born and then Ben's parents and his Brother John's family come visit a few weeks later. There is nothing sweeter than watching a grandparent or cousin or Aunt/Uncle immediately embrace your child showering them with love and acceptance.
Though everyone's visit was short, we LOVED having them all here. And Ephram LOVED being held every second of every day that someone was near him.
I was super impressed with how loving all of the cousins were with him. They each took turns holding him, feeding him and entertaining him. And not only did they adore him, but they each made sure that Amelie felt the love too. They made sure she never felt "second place" or less important than Ephram. To a mother, that makes my heart swell. We are so very blessed to have such amazing family.
While the family was here we went to a pumpkin patch, saw animals, played and even rode on a hay ride. Amelie was a bit scared she was going to fall off, so she held onto Grandpa extra tight and felt very safe the entire ride.
