So what happens when mom gets the date wrong for "free zoo day?" You end up going to the Museum of Nature and Science instead. Amelie was SOO excited when I told her because it is one of her favorite places.
We spent two hours there and could easily have spent another 2 or more. We hit the kids zone first and spent our first hour there. We did texture matching, made a meerkat, dug for dinosaur bones, puppet play and read books.
After the kids zone we went over to Space Odyssey. Astronaut Amelie took us to the moon and back many times. She even found some space rocks. We then played with serval other exhibits within Space Odyssey and unfortunately after that, they closed!
