Our Friday craft/activity was shaving cream finger painting! You start off with a muffin tin. Add shaving cream to each hole. Then mix in food color (note this will stain skin and clothes so make sure to do in clothing you don't care about). Once all "paint" is mixed, let child go to town!
Note for mom's who my want to do this with their children, (if you leave the room to get your camcorder) your child WILL paint themselves and the table!
After a wonderful and fun tub, all colors came off except for our magenta hands (the picture doesn't give justice to the awesome magenta her hands turned - but don't worry, by that night they were almost a normal color)
We decided it would be nice to play with our legos out front and wait for daddy to come home. And of course once he got home, he had to play too!
We've started to let Toby outside with us when we are out - she's really struggling with having to adjust to being an indoor cat - and Amelie, trying to be sweet and kind, decided to brush her - which only made toby want to get as far from Ams as possible! Poor kid, she loves that kitty so much and Toby STILL wont give her the time of day.
That night, as we always do, we headed to Old Town. We got our root beer and lollypop (Amelie's favorite tradition) and listened to some live Irish music!
