So we've made it a tradition that every Friday night we go to Old Town to see what's happening. We always end the night with a sucker and root beer. We were lucky enough to see a few members of CSU's band and cheerleaders hosting a type of pep rally for the game the next day. Amelie LOVED LOVED LOVED the music. One cheerleader even came over to her (since she was dancing so much) and offered Ams her pom poms. Amelie had no idea what to do with them but after convincing her to grab them she shook them all around. Afterwards, Amelie even was able to touch several of the instruments and talk to some of the band members. She was sooooooo interested in the music. We always have to stop and play any piano we pass along our walks. They are all over town and each one is painted by a different local artist. It's a huge treat for Amelie to play on one since we don't own one ourselves and she doesn't get to play one at church anymore.
