The other day, we needed to snag a few groceries. So after dinner we got ourselves ready to go out. Amelie was dying to wear her sneakers. We told her that she needed socks in order to wear her sneakers. At which point she proudly proclaimed, I'll go get some! So she ran upstairs and after a few minutes came down with her pink polk-a-dot leg warmers (which are kept in her sock drawer). She INSISTED on wearing them over her leggings. So alas, my sweet little girl got her wish. She wore her pink leg warmers AND socks!
Oh and in case you weren't aware, jumping is all the rage right now. We jump UP the stairs, we jump DOWN the stairs (which we've already apologized to our next door neighbor for the bam bam bams he hears all day long).
At one of our local grocery stores, we discovered that they offer PENNY horse rides which are a decent length. So alas, we now have an activity for Amelie and Daddy to do while Mommy shops!
